James, Hanna, Abram & Ada: Family

I absolutely adored doing this shoot...it's possible it has something to do with the fact that I adore this family, but that's beside the point.

This was one of my favorite shoots because of the simplicity, uniqueness and character that shines through these photos. And again, I love this family. I'm sure you'll see why by the end of this post.

I would like to say that I tried some new things during this shoot. But, I didn't actually try anything. I just went with the flow. I find that "going with the flow" is the best way to really capture and bring to life the realness of a person in photograph. And going with the flow during this shoot produced some beautiful and unique images. I just love the whimsical and natural feel to the family photo. And I really enjoy the sweentess of the photo of Ada. Somehow, it takes me back to being a little girl again.



And boys will be boys...can't you just hear their laughter?

And tender moments between mother and daughter are priceless...



We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. I love how the brightness of the sun reflects off of the prairie grass and brightens up and colors the photo perfectly!
