This weeks entries for I ♥ Faces! Sepia tone is one of my favorite photo effects, but you can't just use it with ANY photo. From what I've discovered, there needs to be depth and contrast to offset sepia's monochrome affect. This time I've tried fading a bit of the sepia tone to get a bit of the photo's natural color to "shine" through.

If you've been following my blog, you'll notice that Allison (my adult entry) hasn't shown her beautiful face yet! She was a Senior I photographed a few weeks ago. I'll soon be posting the rest of the photos - so stay tuned!

Wow! Great shots! I really like the editing effects and the fact that you left color in both of them. I always forget about that aspect of sepia tone.
these are really awesome
I finally came to check out your blog. I love it. You are so great. Sometime we will have to have you take some pictures for us when we are back in Iowa for a visit.
Great job! Both are fantastic
Both of these are beautifully done. The tutu and jeans combo is perfect for sepia!
